EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE

Carly joined The Academy of Dance as an instructor and choreographer in November of 2019.  Her dance career began in Northern Virginia when she was three years old and she has been dancing ever since.  At the Dance Academy of Loudoun, she performed in competitions, recitals, and in their annual Nutcracker performance. She then continued competitive dance at Studio Bleu Dance Center. Carly competed and won multiple awards at both the local and national levels.  While in High School, Carly founded “Getting Down with Dance”, a free Sunday dance class for students and adults with special needs and disabilities.  After High School, Carly continued at Studio Bleu as a dance instructor.  Carly is currently working on working on her Masters in Teaching at Christopher Newport University.  At CNU, she is a member of the dance program as both a performer and choreographer.
