Jennifer Pries

Jennifer Rose Pries started dancing at the age of two at Tina Marie’s School Dance in Shelby Township, Michigan. At the age of six she joined the competition team where she fell in love with dance. She has training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop. At age 12 she started assisting teachers  and began her teaching/choreography career at the age of 16.  During her competition life she won many titles including the prestigious Miss National StarQuest 2016. Shortly after graduating High School, she moved to New York City to be part of The Broadway Dance Center Professional Program where she focused her study in Musical Theatre. Once she completed this program she began auditioning, performing, and teaching in New York City.  Jennifer has also been a teacher at Michigan Theatre Festival for 6 years. She also was a part of Axelrod Theater’s “High School Musical” The Musical.  Her most recent contract was in Busch Gardens Williamsburg, where she was the ballerina in the Oktoberfest show. Jennifer has taken her love for teaching to The Academy Of Dance and Gymnastics.  She is excited to be a part of this special dance family.
