Academy dance teachers spent two days in a special seminar with nationally known teaching instructor Theresa Crawford in August 2018. Theresa is in demand as a teacher-trainer and has spent years with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, the school that has produced more professional ballet dancers than any other.
The Academy of Dance is the only studio in the area “Certified by Test to Teach”. Linda Haas, owner of The Academy, has been a member of Dance Educators of America for over 30 years and has qualified on written exams plus actual teaching tests. She ensures all her instructors adhere to the same quality teaching standards that Dance Educators requires.
